John de la Pole was a younger son of Michael de la Pole and Katherine Wingfield, and in Holy Orders. He held the manor of Norton sub Hamdon for life by gift of his father. His heir in this to be his brother, Thomas, said to be 38 at this time.[1]
His Will was dated 17 August 1414 and proved Feb 1415. He was buried in the collegiate church of Wingfield, Suffolk.[2]
